How to apply governance remediation safely

Baseline Policy

Remediation Process

1. 1. Open Governance and inspect `Missing By Tag` and top problem scopes.
2. 2. Configure remediation tags and target scopes.
3. 3. Run dry-run to preview touched resources and added entries.
4. 4. Apply tags after review, then refresh compliance.

Safety Checks

• Always run dry-run before bulk apply.
• Target scopes explicitly if compliance drift is localized.
• Capture action/audit evidence for each remediation cycle.

Success Criteria

• Non-compliant resource count decreases after remediation.
• Missing-by-tag values trend downward.
