What permissions does TurboFinOps need?
Read-only permissions are enough for inventory discovery. Write permissions are only needed for approved remediation actions and should be scoped to the action type.
How does the first scan work?
After you add a cloud connection and scope, TurboFinOps queries provider APIs, normalizes resources, evaluates rules and stores findings in your organization workspace.
How often can TurboFinOps scan?
Scan jobs are plan-gated monthly: Free includes 30 scan jobs, Professional includes 90, and Enterprise is unlimited.
What findings does TurboFinOps generate?
Findings cover FinOps, Security, Governance and Audit domains with severity, impact, and recommended fixes.
Does TurboFinOps change my cloud automatically?
Only with explicit authorization. The default action mode requires manual approval and every execution passes through conflict detection.
What happens to my cloud credentials?
Credentials are encrypted at rest, never logged, never returned in API responses and used only for configured cloud operations.
Can I use multiple cloud accounts?
Yes. Limits depend on plan: Free has 1 connection and 3 scopes; Professional has 10 connections and 20 scopes; Enterprise is unlimited.
What is a scope?
A scope is one discoverable unit: an AWS account, Azure subscription or GCP project linked to a cloud connection.
How does AI Explain work?
TurboFinOps uses BYOAI provider configuration. AI Explain, Plan and Summary are available from Professional; AI usage metering is Enterprise-only.
Does TurboFinOps integrate with Jira or ServiceNow?
Yes. Enterprise integrations can create tickets from findings and track linked lifecycle context.
Can I export findings and audit data?
Yes. TurboFinOps supports CSV and JSON exports for findings, resources, audit logs and evidence artifacts, subject to plan limits.
What RBAC roles are available?
Admin, FinOps, Security, Auditor and Viewer. Roles are enforced server-side on every protected request.
Does TurboFinOps support SSO?
Google, Microsoft and GitHub OAuth are available now. SAML/OIDC federation is enterprise tier.
Where is my data stored?
Primary infrastructure is EU-oriented, with Supabase PostgreSQL in London and Aiven Redis in Amsterdam.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage paid subscriptions from the dashboard billing portal. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan can be used without a credit card and includes limited resources, scans and members.
