How to use the Finn AI actionable plan

Purpose and Scope

Required roles: Admin, FinOps, Security. Finn AI provides a 7-day plan and maps each step to active organization findings when a strong match exists.

Matching Logic

• Plan steps are matched against open findings by keyword relevance, severity, and savings impact.
• When a match is found, the UI shows `Detected in tenant data` with rule, provider, and estimated monthly impact.
• `Create Draft Action` generates a `manual_approval` action request, not direct execution.
• If no match is found, the step remains guidance-only until new scans/findings are available.

Operator Workflow

1. 1. Open `Dashboard > Finn AI`.
2. 2. Review `Executive Summary`, `7-Day Remediation Plan`, and the `Actionable AI Plan` cards.
3. 3. On matched steps, click `Create Draft Action`.
4. 4. Track and approve requests from `Dashboard > Actions`.
5. 5. Verify execution result and savings validation in audit trail and findings metadata.

Expected Outcomes

• AI output becomes actionable and auditable instead of static text.
• Every draft remains tenant-scoped and approval-safe.
• Teams can move from detection to remediation faster with controlled risk.
